Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Access Your Chatbot Settings

  1. Go to Your Business: Log in to your AskSpot account and navigate to your business dashboard.

  2. Select Your Chatbot: Click on the chatbot you want to configure.

Step 2: Navigate to Controls

  1. Go to Settings: In your chatbot menu, click on the Settings tab.

  2. Click on Controls: Within the settings, navigate to the Controls section.

Step 3: Turn Off Autoscroll

  1. Locate the Autoscroll Option: Find the option labeled Prevent Auto Scroll After Bot Reply.

  2. Toggle the Option: Click the toggle to turn on this option.

  3. Save Changes: Always remember to save your changes to apply the new setting.

Example

Without Autoscroll Turned Off:

  1. Ask a question to your chatbot.

  2. Notice that the screen automatically scrolls down to the bottom when the bot replies.

With Autoscroll Turned Off:

  1. Ask a question to your chatbot.

  2. The screen will stay in place, and you won't be automatically scrolled to the bottom when the bot replies.
