How to Use Data

In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to filter, download, and sort your chatbot interaction data, as well as view detailed conversation information.

Accessing the Data Tab

  1. Navigating to the Data Tab

    • Start by navigating to the "Data" tab in your AskSpot dashboard.

Filtering Data by Date Range

  1. Selecting Start and End Dates

    • Use the start date and end date fields to filter your data by a specific date range.

    • This is particularly useful for managing large volumes of data, allowing you to focus on interactions within a specified time frame.

  2. Applying Date Filters

    • Once you’ve selected the desired date range, apply the filter to view data between those specified dates.

Downloading Data

  1. Bulk Downloading Data

    • To download the filtered data in bulk, use the CSV download option.

    • Click the "Download" button to save the data to your device.

Sorting Data

  1. Sorting Order

    • You can sort the data by ascending or descending order based on the date and time.

    • For instance, clicking on ascending order will place the oldest data at the top, making it easy to review earlier interactions.

Viewing Detailed Conversation Data

  1. Viewing Conversations

    • In the "Chat" column, click on the "View" option to see the entire conversation collected by the chatbot.

    • This allows you to review the detailed interaction between the user and the chatbot.

  2. Viewing Opt-in Form Details

    • Click on the "Contact Information" link to view the form that was used to collect data.

    • This will show you details such as the date and time of the interaction, the email address, name, and phone number of the user.

Sending Data to Automation Software

  1. Automation Software Integration

    • For further processing, you can send the collected data to automation software like Zapier.

    • Use the sample data provided to set up your automation workflows, ensuring seamless integration and data management.
