How To Train Your AskSpot Bot

Adding Knowledge and Context

1. Upload Files:

   • Go to your bot setup page and select the "Sources" tab.

   • Upload files such as PDFs, text files, CSV files, or Word documents.

   • Ensure content is well-organized for easier parsing by the bot.

2. Add Webpages:

   • Enter the URL of the webpage you want the bot to learn from.

   • Click "Add Source" to add that specific page.

   • Use "Fetch More Links" to add multiple URLs from the site.

3. Add Questions and Answers:

   • Manually input frequently asked questions and their answers.

   • This helps the bot provide quick and accurate responses to common queries.

4. Add Freeform Text:

   • Type or paste text directly into the provided box.

   • This method is useful for adding miscellaneous information quickly.

5. Add Integrations:

   • Select what you want to be integrated either Google Sheet or Google Document.

   • Insert the URL of the Google Sheet or Google Documents.

   • Ensure that you're sharing your Google Sheets/Docs with askspot-intergrations@askspot-staging.iam.gserviceaccount.com.

   • You can also edit the Google Sheets/Docs URL by sharing it to anyone. This way you don't have to share it to the email provided.

6. RSS Content:

   • Type or paste the RSS Content URL into the provided box.

   • Click on "Add Source".

   • Remember to always "Autosync" your sources to make sure their information is always up-to-date.
