Step-by-Step Guide to Moving Your AskSpot Bot
1. Cloning Your Bot:
If you’ve created a bot for one company and want to use it for another, the first step is to clone the bot. Cloning allows you to duplicate the bot and retain most of its features and configurations.
Navigate to Your Bot: Go to the dashboard where your bot is located.
Clone the Bot: Select the bot you want to duplicate and look for the ‘Clone’ option. This will create a copy of your bot.
2. Moving Your Bot to Another Folder:
Once you have a cloned bot, you can move it to another project or company folder.
Select the Cloned Bot: Find the cloned bot you want to move.
Hit Move: Click on the ‘Move’ button.
Search for the Destination Folder: Type in the name of the folder where you want to move the bot.
Confirm the Move: Select the appropriate folder from the search results and confirm the move.
3. Verify the Move:
After moving the bot, you should verify that it has been placed in the correct folder.
Go to the Destination Folder: Navigate to the folder where you moved the bot.
Check for the Bot: Ensure that the copied bot appears in the new folder.
